Faragi (Deliana gorge – Chania region)

Chania, Where to Eat/DrinkMarch 12, 2016admin

The main reasons to appear close to the nice, small villages of Astrikas and Deliana are either you got lost on your way to the famous Elafonisi or Paleochora or you look for the beautiful gorge of Deliana.

Whatever the reason is, you have a great chance to experience real Cretan homemade food, based on local natural ingredients hard to find in our days. Giorgos his wife and his son respect all the guests and try their best to offer high quality products, in a green, cozy environment. They named the tavern Faragi (gorge) as it’s located next to the main road of Deliana village just 1 Km before the entrance of one of the most beautiful canyon of Chania region among those with easy access.

The nice, colorful big sign of the tavern was made by Giorgos’ son, (he is a graphic designer), who is happy (like his father) to inform you about the interesting spots around – worth to visit, or to help you find your way in case you got lost.

The place is at the top 10 list with the best taverns in Chania region.
