This is the most important post of 2018 and the reason why I will not make many posts for this summer.
I work 99% to turn a beautiful big piece of land into a herb paradise.
There are plenty of wild herbs (mostly sage and thyme) there since I bought the property 3 years ago but it is just this Spring when I started to plant more of the endemic species like the famous Diktamos
With the precious help of good friends, we try to create beautiful herb gardens and paths, using stones from the land
Though the Land is less than 10 Km from the famous village of Matala, with many interesting spots to visit, and just 400meters from the quiet, beautiful village of Listaros, the feeling that you are in the nature is very strong and helps you to relax.

Helping people to relax and enjoy Crete is my basic aim, as I strongly believe that Holidays are <Holy Days>!
The philosophy that life must be simple and beautiful helped (also a few very good friends) me to create a spot where everybody would feel nice and comfy.
Now, I feel very happy to invite you there and feel the strong, positive energy of this land. You can be informed about the benefits of the precious local Herbs, watch them grow in a natural environment, and enjoy a cup of Cretan herb mixture, or a fresh juice, or even a salad straight from the organic garden.
If you wish to get a general idea of producing healthy food products, based on great values of love and respect, you might have a walk among herbs and vegetables, cultivated by the principles of Agro-ecology,
After May of 2019, we will be ready to serve high nutrition value products, free of chemicals, for people who are aware of the connection between high quality food and health and the choice of food is a key priority for them.
During the last years, some good friends have managed to maintain and spread seeds from traditional varieties, which we cultivate using simple techniques and natural formulations for fertilization and plant protection, most of which are produced by themselves. (For example, instead of spraying chemically the fields to dry the weeds, we just cut them off).

Lastly, in cooperation with alternative tourism agencies, we will be ready to welcome small groups that are sensitive to the field of agro-food, where, after informing them about our cultivation activities, we offer a meal based on true Cretan Nutrition. We are also happy to give information and helping them to discover the rare beauties of the area.
