Special Cottages

Heraklion, TipsFebruary 15, 2018Isidoros

Do you know what orgonomy is?

I had no idea since the moment I first time met Manolis, 5 years ago. He impressed me by his simplicity and his passion with what he does in his life. Every time I meet him he keeps impresses me with his actions and ideas.

Manolis, his joyful wife – Nopi, and their 2 lovely kids live in the village of Apostoloi, south-east of Heraklion city and the last years they turned the old buildings of the family house into 3 very aesthetic rooms (there is one more nearby), offering accommodation to some lucky people who likes the experience of being friends of a local couple more than treated as tourists.

Orgonis cottages are highly recommended for those who enjoy a different, very friendly treatment during their staying in Crete and who are open to many nice surprises, mainly based on tasty food and agricultural methods of growing healthy products.

The Cottages and the view

A few photos of the nicely renovated buildings (with the fire place, making them very attractive for winter holidays), plus the huge open view of the open fields and the 3 main mountain ranges of Heraklion region.

One of the many talents of Manolis is that he grows vegetables by orgon theory and sells them in the bio market of Heraklion 3 times per week, but whenever he has time he updates his knowledge as spine therapist, as he offers this treatment in his cottages.

Another high light of the experiences there is the chance to enjoy the beautiful Cretan sky during a clear-cloud free night. Manolis is happy to share his telescope with any of his guests is interested in star observation!

Last tip.

Don’t forget to ask for their hand made ketchup sauce! Especially if you have kids they will love to try tasty ketchup, like it should be, without chemicals and conservatives.
