This is a small very simple place, next to a big grill restaurant, named Thraka, very close to the gate of the marine port and EOT = Tourism Organization). Mrs. Maria and her cousins are grand mums from Rethymno cooking like they used to do for their families, offering warm atmosphere, based on great hospitality. Just keep in mind to be there for lunch, before dinner time.
This is not the famous one (in the photo above), behind the Rimondi fountain in the center of Rethymno – which is also good, by the way.
