If you are around Sfakia, this is the best spot to swim (it takes only 5 min driving) on the way to Anopoli, you turn left on a dirty road, just before the asphalt becomes very curvy up to Anopoli (there is sign to Ilingas beach). Plus 5 min walking, but you don’t have to carry many things, as you get cold water at the tavern in the parking place, and you have shade for free in the huge caves very close to the sea.
